Hello! Just a wee note to taper expectations.

This is a silly little website made by me, from my bed. No web designers (didn't need to clarify that, did I? Look at it).

Some buttons will work, some I will have forgotten to link. There will be rogue commas. There will be bizarre bits, posted in a moment of madness or while a bit sozzled. So, don't expect much.

Ciao!

Obvious takeaway from this is that I wish I'd gone to Oxford. The romance of the university in the 20's is such a blissful read. Sadly don't have the intellect or dedication to have been a contender for Oxbridge, but if I'd read this sooner, I may have worked a bit harder for my A levels.

Fantastic social commentary regarding class divisions and the decline of the British aristocracy. Ideas of faith and morality are super interesting, esp. within its broader social and cultural context. Would recommend to a friend.

n.b. Guys, it is WEEKS later, and I am still reading this... Loved the start, but for the last few weeks it has felt like a chore to pick it up. Although it objectively hasn't, I just feel like the momentum in narrative has dried up. This is perhaps, the point... but ahhhhhhh, can't bloody wait to finish it. My friends have been trying to convince me to read some sort of Harry Potter smut. I shan't be doing that, but 'Brideshead' is pushing me towards it at an alarming rate.

This drivel... in your inbox? Sounds pretty cool. You'll just get an email when a new blog gets posted. Nothing crazy.

Cheers!
